The Storm

This story shows the infidelity in the marriage between Bobinot(the husband) and Calixta(the wife). The story began when Bobinot and his son gut stuck in a Friedheimer's store because of a heavy storm. Back in the house, the wife was worried looking forward to see her husband and child back home and for some reason her ex known as Alcee showed up to seek refuge due to the same storm and for some few moments they recandled their feelings and had intimacy before the storm was over. When the huband and the the son return home Alcee has already left and Calixta in pritence welcome them as if nothing has happened.
Wow, i wonder what men are going to think about women after reading this story, but to me it is an interesting story. Although i don't agree with what Calixta did because she was a married woman and she should have behaved like one no matter how strong the temptation was. Also, i like how the writer described their romancing moments in paragraph 25 t0 30 like " Her mouth was a fountan of delight" and also " He stayed cushioned upon her... with his heart beating like a hammer upon her". This story reminds me of a neighbor in Africa whose husban was a teacher and whenever the husband go to school she will bring her boyfriend into their house and was caught by her husband one day and due to the pains the man used cutlass and cut off one hand to teach her a lesson. He was arrested and sent to prison.
