A Christmas Story by Larry French is a short story about a grieving couple. In the first few lines the wife is having a hard time dealing with her loss and she is expressing her feelings to her husband. The husband begins thinking about how they lost their child in the farm accident. The husband then sees the child's favorite toy airplane in the yard and thinks about the memorable time they shared when he bought that airplane for the child.
