A Christmas Story

In the beginning of A Christmas Story, the married couple are apoligizing to each other for the lose of something. The husband suggests to his wife that she go to talk with someone about her feelings. In my opinion, I think the couple lost their children, and they are in the grieving process. The wife accusses the silos to be the reason for all of their heart aches.
At the end of the story the husband is playing with his son's toy. I think he is realizing how much fun the toy must have been for his son, and this makes him think of happier times.
My reaction to the paper is that this couple is grieving from the lose of their children. This story is the perfect example of how hard it is for a parent to lose a child and to be able to move on with their life.
